October 2011, as a Key Project of Xingtai City, Hebei Province to promote Chinese folk culture, Shang Xiaoyun Grand Theatre rebuilding and expansion project has successfully completed.
The theatre is located at south of Yejin Road, Qiaoxi District. The name of the theatre is after the famous Beijing opera Educator Mr. Shang Xiaoyun, who is one of the four most famous opera "Dan" character, and also the founder of Art Force of Shang. The completion of the new theater is no doubt a wonderful occasion for opera world.
In addition to opera and live performances, the theatre will also be frequently used for government departments' public conferences, such as the Political Consultative Committee’s, and People's Congress presidium’s.
C-Mark digital sound reinforcement systems has been applied in the theater, including ST speakers and some other digital audio processing systems.
